I want to give Hillary Clinton a tip of the cap because she is one tough broad. Some people might be offended by the use of "broad", I did not use broad in the pejorative sense but as a compliment to her resiliency, tenacity, and her thirst for Crown Royal. This woman is tough. Bubba was known as the Comeback Kid and Hillary may go down as the Street Fighting Woman.

Hillary beat Barack, like a rented mule, in the Pennsylvania primary capturing 55% of the vote. Yes, her pursuit for the Democratic nomination can best be described as an improbable uphill quest, similar to scaling Mt. Everest with Dom DeLuise as her sherpa, but if pictures of Barack pop up showing him canoodling with a Ukrainian tranny, the game is on.

Funny Barack Obama t-shirts.

What does Hillary achieve by dropping out of this fight? As far as I can tell, she'll get a pat on the back and a few editorials will be written proclaiming her actions as unifying the Democratic party. These same editorials will label her the elder stateswoman of the Democratic party. I don't think she's interested in being the elder stateswoman of the Democratic party.

Hillary wants to finish the game and in the process she might inadvertently validate the candidacy of Barack Obama. The Clinton campaign has attacked Obama, but Barack has shown an uncanny ability to take punches and remain standing. Obama has turned his sights on McCain.

What I do take exception to is Clinton's call for the Super Delegates to make the right choice and nominate the candidate that is more electable versus John McCain. Hillary is advocating the superdelegates ignore the primary process and select her as the Democratic nominee. If that does occur, it could lead to the destruction of the Democratic party.

Obama has enjoyed tremendous support from young Democratic voters. Is the Democratic party willing to alienate a new generation of voters by ignoring the primary process? Obama has been the most consistent candidate throughout the primary process. Governor Ed Rendell's political machine in Pennsylvania will not save the Clinton candidacy, but it is a formidable operation. Too bad Ed doesn't have the same clout with his beloved Philadelphia Eagles.

Good to see Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick on MSNBC this morning. How's that book coming?
