The Victory Brewery variety case was very popular at the Lane Chirstmas Eve bash. One Merriman brother was practically falling over himself with effusive praise for the Golden Monkey Ale. I quote: "this is pretty good beer". Wax on, William F Buckley Jr, wax on. My recommendations for the winter season are: Pennsylvania Dutch traditional egg nog (everyone HATES it but me) and Knob Creek with a few cubes . . . mmm, Daddy's going to take a nap on the couch now.
