Re: Re: Memorial Day Musings

Great post by the reader and thanks for reading the blog! The reader clearly demonstrates that I know absolutely nothing about lacrosse and his comment clears up my confusion. Now, I get why the players sprint after a missed shot. Makes sense. 2 Additional Mistakes by Sheridan: 1. Lack of baseball on television - Monday night the MLB Network aired the Chicago White Sox destroying the Los Angeles Angels. Perhaps the MLB Network aired more games throughout the day? 2. The identical red hats on the Red Sox and the Twins - I realized something was up when the White Sox were wearing the same red hats as the Twins and Red Sox, which were worn in honor of the nation's war veterans on Memorial Day. All of MLB wore the red hats - even the Yankees put on the red hats. This was the first time in Yankees history that the Bronx Bombers had worn red hats. Of course, the caps are on sale by MLB and a portion of the sales will go to the Welcome Back Veterans Foundation. http://blogs.mycentraljersey.com/yankees/2009/05/25/yankees-join-red-hat-society/ I'm taking potshots at the fine folks who steer NCAA Lacrosse, but who's the clown that knows nothing about lacrosse? Let's blame these mistakes on Sheridan's non-existent research assistant who was given the day off to attend lacrosse's national championship game at Gillette Stadium. I need to bolster my staff and eliminate paid holidays.
